Mayank Jain is an engineer and entrepreneur who builds systems at the intersection of scale, precision, and real-world constraints. As CTO of Bustem, he leads the technical vision behind the platform—designing the detection and enforcement engine that powers Bustem’s ability to identify, track, and eliminate infringement at scale.
Before Bustem, Mayank founded Hecaton, a product engineering studio known for tackling problems most teams couldn’t. Working closely with founders, Hecaton built and rebuilt complex systems across a wide range of domains—including AI voice agents, crypto exchanges, logistics platforms, and sports technology apps—translating high-risk ideas into durable, production-grade software that companies could actually grow on.
Earlier in his career, Mayank worked on a team developing brainwave-sensing AirPods, with prototypes that were ultimately sold to Apple and Meta. That experience shaped how he approaches ambitious technical problems—moving quickly from idea to execution while meeting the standards of world-class organizations.
At Bustem, these experiences come together as Mayank applies a founder’s empathy and an engineer’s rigor to brand protection. His work ensures the platform evolves as fast as the threats it’s built to stop, so brands can stay focused on growth instead of defense.
