About the Role
This is a full-cycle AE role. You’ll own the process from the first conversation to close: running discovery, building the business case, navigating legal and brand teams, and getting deals across the line.
You’ll be selling into brand protection, legal, and e-commerce leadership at mid-market and enterprise brands. These are buyers who understand the cost of inaction: your job is to make Bustem the obvious solution.
This role is right for someone who’s comfortable with complex sales, multiple stakeholders, and longer cycles, and who still knows how to create urgency and drive decisions.
Main Job Responsibilities
Pipeline & Prospecting
• Own a book of business and build a pipeline through outbound, inbound, and partner
• Identify and prioritize high-fit accounts based on brand size, category, and abuse
• Run multi-threaded outreach across brand protection, legal, and e-commerce
Discovery & Deal Execution
• Lead structured discovery to surface the revenue impact of brand abuse on each
prospect
• Build tailored business cases that connect Bustem’s enforcement capabilities to each
brand’s specific threats
• Navigate procurement, legal review, and security questionnaires at larger accounts
• Maintain deal momentum across multi-stakeholder buying processes
Forecasting & CRM
• Keep your pipeline accurate and up to date: no surprises at forecast calls
• Provide reliable weekly and monthly forecasts
• Document activity, stages, and next steps in CRM consistently
Collaboration
• Work closely with the founder on strategic accounts and key negotiations
• Feed market intel back into product, marketing, and enforcement: you’re on the front
lines
• Help shape repeatable sales playbooks as we scale the function
About You
• 3+ years of B2B sales experience in a closing role
• Proven track record selling into mid-market or enterprise accounts
• Strong discovery skills: you know how to find the real problem and build around it
• Comfortable with longer sales cycles and the discipline to manage them well
• Clear, direct communicator: in writing, on calls, and in the room
• Self-directed and high-output: you don’t need a large team to be effective

Compensation:
• $90,000 - $120,000 Base Salary + Commission
• This range may span several levels that could apply to the role. Final salary depends on factors like level, relevant experience, skills, and expertise. The range covers base salary only, not benefits.
