Solutions/Fake website takedowns

Take fake websites offline.

Clone stores copy your site and photos, take payment, then run ads to keep the orders coming. We go after everything that keeps them live: the host, the payments, the ads and the search results.

How a fake store works.

They're cheap to launch and quick to replace, so taking down one page rarely ends it. Every one of these is a pressure point.

01
A lookalike domain

Your name plus 'sale', 'outlet' or 'official', bought for a few dollars.

02
Your photos and copy

Lifted straight from your site, often your whole product catalog.

03
A real checkout

Stripe, PayPal or a Shopify checkout so the payment looks legitimate.

04
Ads to drive traffic

Meta and TikTok ads using your creative, aimed at your audience.

05
Nothing, or a knockoff, in the box

And the angry review lands on your brand, not theirs.

One report rarely does it, so we file four.

Each party that keeps the site running gets its own report, with the evidence it needs, in the order that gets the site down fastest.

Step 1

We find the clone.

Domain monitoring, reverse image search and ad-library sweeps catch new sites, usually before your customers do.

Step 2

You confirm it isn't yours.

One click in the dashboard or a reply in Slack. Your own stores and partners are whitelisted.

Step 3

We cut every route.

The host, the payment processor, the ad platforms and Google Search, each with the evidence it needs to act.

“Before Bustem, fakes were everywhere. Customers blamed us, not the scammers. Within 3 months of working with Bustem they nuked dozens of sites, killed TikTok impersonators, and shut down clone ads. For the first time, it feels like we're in control again.”

If it comes back, so do we.

Operators move to a new domain within days. We watch for relaunches with the same photos, payment accounts and ad creative, and file again before they've built up traffic.

Usually, yes. Most clone stores still rely on a handful of large hosts, registrars and payment processors with abuse processes. When one route is slow, we push on the others.

No. Cloudflare usually doesn't host the site it sits in front of. It forwards abuse reports to the real host and the site operator, and we follow up with the host directly.

It helps, but your copyrighted photos and copy are usually enough to get a clone store removed. A registered mark adds weight with marketplaces, ad networks and Google, and you need one to take the domain itself.

A transfer is a legal dispute (a UDRP), not a takedown. If you want one, you get a free consult with our partner IP law firm and client pricing. Most brands just want the site gone, which is what we do.

Then we escalate. We keep pressure on across platforms, hosting providers, ad networks and payment processors. Consistent enforcement is what actually gets results.
